What do you get for your dues?

All members have free access to our private lists and forums, merchandise discounts, networking opportunities, promotional flyers, invitations to events, newsletters, membership card and AFA lapel pin, and more...

At the higher levels, you will receive special offers, an invitation for a private meeting or phone call with Steve McNallen, and free gifts of your choice. (Note: Your dues are tax-deductible, minus the value of any gifts you receive.)

What does your membership fee do for you, and for Asatru?

  1. Spread and Strengthen Asatru Nationally & Internationally via our Website and social media development
  2. Connect with other Asatruar with our Outreach programs & educational material
  3. Gather and Meet other Heathens at Events funded at the national and regional levels (i.e. Central Corridor Heathen Celebration -  Ostara 2011, local meetups, and so forth)
  4. Foster Local Community Building with Leadership development (travel for our Leadership Team to attend conferences & trainings)
  5. Invest in Long-term projects such the formation of AFA communities across the country and around the world.

100% of our staffing is volunteer, except for contracted web-work.

Still interested? Simply follow these steps!

  1. Read our Declaration of Purpose, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement. If you agree with those documents, then you're ready to fill out an application form.
  2. Choose your Level of Membership from the list below:
    • Supporting ($30)
    • Sustaining ($60)
    • Benefactor ($120)
    • Premier ($300)
    • Patron ($600)
  3. Select method of payment, either in a lump sum or with a payment plan. For the first time, we also have a monthly payment option for those who want to support the AFA at the higher levels.
  4. Use the online version (below) or download a PDF file, print it, and send it by regular mail to AFA, P.O. Box 445, Nevada City, CA 95959.
  5. Pay your first year's dues today. There is a application processing time of 2 – 3 days. If for some reason there's a problem with membership, your dues will be fully and promptly refunded.
  6. We'll send you an email notification when your application has been approved. Your membership will be activated when we receive your dues payment. You can (1) pay on this site using Paypal (preferred) or you can (2) send a check or money order to our address above.
  7. Please do not attempt to join the members' Forum until you receive a letter of invitation from Mary Minshall, our Membership Database Administrator. Mary will inform you of all membership benefits and will put you in touch with your regional Folkbuilder. You will also receive an AFA lapel pin and membership card by mail.
